| Linda and Milt standing behind the building with their long-sought after
building permit--the Autorizatie de Constructie. They thought they would have
this in May and finally got it on 10/3.
|
| The building from the front on 10/03 --just 9
days before the first part of the team from Pennsylvania was to come to put
up the drywall for the interior walls!
|
| The building from the back on 10/3, again just 9 days before
the team was coming! We were concerned that they wouldn't be able to work
without the exterior walls on--what if it rained!
|
| This is on 10/6, and shows the first of the back wall panels being put on--6
days before the first part of the team comes!
|
| This one is from 10/9 and shows the progress they have made on the Baumit
surface of the front, which makes it look like stucco. This will make the
building look more Romanian, rather than having metal panels on the front.
|
| The clinic from the back on 10/13, the first day the first part of
the team was working on the inside. The main part of the back is done but
the side is only partially finished.
|
| Electricians working hard on 10/13, after coming 3
days later than they said they would. They had to get the wires in the walls
before the team could put up the drywall.
|
| The team starting to work on the inside of the
building on 10/13.
|
| Part of the team.
|
| The rest of the team (with some overlap).
|
| Progress on the back of the building as of 10/21.
|
| The waiting room after almost all the drywall is up.
|
| This one shows two of the guys who were working on putting up the drywall for
the ceiling on the 2nd floor. Because of new building laws, we had to raise
up the ceilings, and therefore couldn't have a dropped ceiling on the upper
floor without raising the whole building up a foot.
|
| This shows how the building looks now, with the Baumit (stucco) finish
almost done on the front.
