| This is Marius Traistaru's 4th birthday party.Marius is
on Linda's lap, Flori (age 6) is next to her. Gabi is on the left and cousins of Flori and
Marius are in the foreground.

Four years ago, Flori swallowed
caustic soda and burned his esophagus. Doctors told his parents to take him
home and let him die. Flori's parents heard of the American doctors and took
him to see the Drs. Hanson. He was nourished by drinking baby formula which the
Hanson's had brought with them. His esophagus healed. Flori is doing well, but
still needs surgery on his badly scarred esophagus.

| Flori's parents, Marian and Georgeta Traistaru,
were married in a civil ceremony 7 years ago. In this photo, they are
being married in a religous ceremony. Milt and Linda
were witnesses.
| This little boy lived with his parents
in the sewers of Bucharest. His parents didn't want him and gave
him to the Christian woman (right) to care for. The woman
quit school and got a job to take care of him.
