The Open Door Medical Foundation
The Open Door Medical Foundation was approved by the Romanian government in October of 1997. Its founder members are two American Board Certified Family Physicians, Drs. Milton and Linda Hanson, and two Romanian physicians, Dr. Ruxanda Dumitrescu and Dr. Gabriela Talabur.

The overall goal of the Foundation is to establish a medical clinic that will provide quality medical care for needy Romanians. This clinic will also be a means for teaching and modeling Family Practice medicine to general practice doctors and residents in the general practice residency program in Bucharest.
