Prayers - September 2000
ANSWERED PRAYERS
- Praise that MLPAT has approved the building project, and that it is on
it's way for the city architect's and mayor's signatures!
- Praise that the construction is progressing and that there have been no
work injuries!
- Praise that the clinic project continues to receive donations!
- Praise that the Lord has blessed the children in the ICC orphanage with
improved language ability and skills.
- Praise for continued good health, safety and unity! Linda's asthma is a
lot better, despite having the kitty in the apartment. It's worse if she
spends a lot of time outside.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- That the new chief architect and the new mayor will sign the "Autorizatie
de Constructie" soon!
- For God to continue to lead people to donate to our clinic project.
Donations toward the clinic are best given to Open Door Medical Ministries,
C/O Clifford Olson, 9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN 55428. For
donations to our Work Fund, Support Fund, Travel Fund and Personal Gift Fund,
they still should go to World Mission Prayer League, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneap
olis, MN 55403, specifying to which fund you wish to give. (WMPL prefers not
to duplicate the work of ODMM.)
- For the safety of all the workers on the construction project, for
protection against theft of materials and tools, and also for no major delays
in the construction process.
- For the construction team from Pennsylvania coming in October, for all
the preparation that needs to be done here and there before the trip, for
their time and efforts to have a lasting impact for the Kingdom!
- For our citizenship process to finally be successfully completed, soon!
- For BEL Christian Fellowship, for direction for the future.
- For more opportunities and ability to witness effectively in this
culture, where most people believe they are Christian because they are
baptized, without any knowledge of what it means to have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ or to live for Him and according to His
teachings.
- For continued good health, safety and unity.
- For the ICC orphanage children. Since they started a new educational
program, most of the kids are making rapid improvement in their verbal
skills. Also, pray that those with major developmental delays and medical
problems will be healed by the Lord. Pray especially for Vasile Gica, age 4,
who has hemophilia (a bleeding problem) and yet wants to play as hard as the
rest of the boys. Also, for adoptive parents for the children or that their
own parents will take them home and love them and care for them.
- That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We
need people with clinic organization and management skills and evangelism
skills.
