PRAYER REQUESTS

  1. For us to have the wisdom to think of ALL the final details that are nee ded before opening the clinic.
  2. For God to continue to lead people to donate to our clinic project. There are still many other things that the clinic needs in addition to what has already been provided, including a CBC lab machine, a chair for the blood drawing area, an X-ray machine in the future and hopefully an air conditioner before the hottest part of the summer comes. Donations toward the clinic are best given to Open Door Medical Ministries, C/O Clifford Olson, 9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN 55428. Donations to our Work Fund, Support Fund, Travel Fund and Personal Gift Fund should go to World Mission Prayer League, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403, specifying to which fund you wish to give.
  3. For Dr. Francisco Gross, the dentist who will be working with us, that he and his family will be able to get Spanish citizenship and his diplomas approved in Spain and that the Romanian government will then accept his diploma (as a European Union dentist). And that they receive their visas to Spain to start this whole process soon. The office in Spain has approved their application, but for some reason or other, the Spanish embassy here hasn't received the necessary confirmation from Spain. Pray also for a good quality Christian dentist here who would like to work with him in our clinic.
  4. For us to find other high quality Christian specialists who would like to work part-time in the clinic.
  5. For continued general good health, safety and unity, for us and for all of the people who will soon be working at the clinic.
  6. For continued protection of the clinic against theft or damage.
  7. For Ionut, to be healed of his mumps and his leukemia.
  8. That the residents who will be learning at our clinic and the patients who come will experience Christ's love for them through our work and our words.
  9. That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We need people with medical training, clinic organization and management skills, Christian counseling and evangelism skills as well as other skills.
  10. For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders and the people will rediscover the meaning of integrity, 2) against the spirits of deception, self-deception and corruption that are so dominant in this country, and 3) for a revival in the church in Romania, especially among the men, for their hearts and their minds.
