PRAYER REQUESTS
- That Mayor Lis will sign the final "authorization of construction" in
spite of being on his official campaign vacation.
- For God to continue to lead people to donate to our clinic project.
Donations can be given to World Mission Prayer League, specifying the Romania
Clinic Fund, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403, or to Open Door Medical
Ministries, C/O Clifford Olson, 9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN
55428. We need at least $70,000 more to complete and furnish the clinic.
- For the safety of all the workers on the construction project, and also
for protection against theft of materials and tools.
- For BEL Christian Fellowship, for direction for the future.
- For more opportunities and ability to witness effectively in this
culture, where most people believe they are Christian because they are
baptized, without any knowledge of what it means to have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ or to live for Him and according to His
teachings.
- For continued good health, safety and unity.
- For safe travel on our short trip home, and that we can get everything
necessary done during that short time.
- For the ICC orphanage children. Even the ones that have the potential to
be normal in development seem to have language delays, probably caused by
lack of one to one communication on a daily, hourly basis that most babies
and kids in a family receive. Pray that the staff there will not only love
the kids, which they do, but also will talk with each child as much as
possible, which makes their job more challenging but will help the children.
Also, pray that those with major developmental delays and medical problems
will be healed by the Lord. Also, for adoptive parents for them.
- That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We
need people with clinic organization and management skills and evangelism
skills. We have received an e-mail from a young couple who want to come and
help in whatever way possible for 6 weeks in November and December. We're
looking forward to them coming, and pray that the Lord will provide for their
financial needs to cover their stay here.
- For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders will follow the Lord and
seek to do His will and that they will recommit themselves to opposing
corruption and dishonesty at all levels of the government and society, 2)
against the spirits of deception, self-deception and corruption that are so
dominant in this country, and 3) for a revival in the church in Romania,
especially among the men.
