Our time back in the States is going s-o-o-o fast. We celebrated Easter and Jesus's victory over death at our home congregation, Vision of Glory Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN. Wednesday evening we presented our work at a potluck supper at VOG. Then on the Thursday after Easter we headed for a medical Family Practice Board Review course in Kansas City, MO. The course was very helpful, from 7:15 every morning until 7 or 8 pm every evening. It's Milt's year to take his Family Practice Board recertification exam, so this is a very good way to get updated. We stopped in Lincoln, NE on the way down to visit Cindy, Linda's sister. When we tried to check our e-mail the motel's PBX phone system fried our modem (not happy - especially since we had just gotten our computer back from the repair shop two days earlier). Since the conference we have spoken at 3 more churches and at a WMPL camp in Wisconsin.
We're back in the Twin Cities, staying with Linda's sister Blue and her family until May 25th when "we're on the road again." In addition to the speaking schedule below, we will be meeting with many other groups (small group fellowships, Bible study groups, etc.). We hope to get to see as many friends and supporters as possible in the time we have left. Milt is also studying for "the Boards."

We receive a lot of e-mails from our friends back in Romania, some for medical advice and others with prayer requests and updates about the very many missionary and humanitarian actiities going on there. Ruxanda has been dealing with very many bureaucratic and administrative issues all by herself in our absence. Please continue to pray for her and her husband, Dragos, that they do not become discouraged. In a recent e-mail she reported that the electrical lines are installed, and hopefully within a couple of weeks the city will finally turn on the electricity to the building! The special adhesive for the upper floor tiles has arrived, and so now the construction team should be starting on that soon as well as on the fences.
