ANSWERED PRAYERS
- Praise that the clinic has opened!!!
- Praise that Francisco Gross received his visa for Spain and he and his
family left for Spain last week!
- Praise that Ionut is doing better and that we have received enough funds
for his medicines for the time being!
PRAYER REQUESTS
- For God to continue to lead people to donate to our clinic project.
Funds for our employees' salaries are our biggest need currently. There are
still many other things that the clinic needs in addition to what has already
been provided, including a CBC lab machine, a chair for the blood drawing
area, an X-ray machine in the future and hopefully an air conditioner before
it gets even hotter. It already gets to 90+ many days. Donations toward the
clinic are best given to Open Door Medical Ministries, C/O Clifford Olson,
9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN 55428. Donations to our Work Fund,
Support Fund, Travel Fund and Personal Gift Fund should go to World Mission
Prayer League, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403, specifying to which
fund you wish to give.
- For Dr. Francisco Gross, that he and his family will be able to get
Spanish citizenship and his diplomas approved in Spain in only 3-4 months and
that the Romanian government will then accept his diploma (as a European
Union dentist). Pray also for a good quality Christian dentist here who
would like to work with him in our clinic.
- For Gabi and Ambrose, that the Lord would bless their marriage. Also,
Gabi has had some health problems recently--please pray for complete healing.
- For Ruxi and Dragos and Eduard, who still has colic most of every day,
making him unable to be comforted by Ruxi much of the time.
- For doctors to volunteer to come and work in the clinic, especially when
we are back in the U.S. in October.
- For us to find other high quality Christian specialists who would like to
work part-time in the clinic.
- For continued general good health, safety and unity, for us and for all
of the people who are working at the clinic.
- For continued protection of the clinic against theft or damage.
- For Ionut, to be healed of his leukemia.
- That the residents who will be learning at our clinic and the patients
who come will experience Christ's love for them through our work and our
words.
- That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We
need people with medical training, clinic organization and management skills,
Christian counseling and evangelism skills as well as other skills.
- For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders and the people will
rediscover the meaning of integrity, 2) against the spirits of deception,
self-deception and corruption that are so dominant in this country, and 3)
for a revival in the church in Romania, especially among the men, for their
hearts and their minds.
