PRAYER REQUESTS
- That the office of Omologare will quickly approve the sterilizers that we
have.
- That Sanepid will give us their approval promptly, as soon as the
sterilizers are approved.
- For us to have the wisdom to think of all the final details that are
needed before opening the clinic, like how best to computerize the patient
information, format for medical charts, etc.
- For wisdom as we interview potential employees this coming week.
- For us to receive our identity cards as soon as possible, so that we can
then apply for our medical licenses. Also, for no hassles or unexpected
problems in obtaining the medical licenses.
- A man from Washington state has raised funds for some new computers and
is coming to install them on Feb. 10. Pray that the computers make it
through customs in time!
- For Dr. Francisco Gross, the dentist who will be working with us, that he
and his family will be able to get Spanish citizenship and his diplomas
approved in Spain and that the Romanian government will then accept his
diploma. Pray also that he will find a good quality Christian dentist here
in Bucharest who would like to work with him in our clinic. He is waiting to
receive his visa to Spain right now.
- For God to continue to lead people to donate to our clinic project,
especially as we still have to pay salaries for the guards, accountant and
other employees while we don't have any income generating activity yet. We
will also need funds for a CBC lab machine sometime, for the parking lot next
spring and hopefully for an air conditioner before summer. Donations toward
the clinic are best given to Open Door Medical Ministries, C/O Clifford
Olson, 9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN 55428. For donations to our
Work Fund, Support Fund, Travel Fund and Personal Gift Fund, they should go
to World Mission Prayer League, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403,
specifying to which fund you wish to give.
- For Ionut, the 5 year old boy with leukemia, that his parents will be
able to find sources of support (either through our Work Fund or through
other sources) to pay for the medicine and that the medicine will indeed cure
his leukemia.
- For continued protection of the clinic against theft or damage.
- For continued general good health, safety and unity.
- That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We
need people with medical training, clinic organization and management skills,
Christian counseling and evangelism skills as well as other skills.
- For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders and the people will
rediscover the meaning of integrity, 2) against the spirits of deception,
self-deception and corruption that are so dominant in this country, and 3)
for a revival in the church in Romania, especially among the men, for their
hearts and their minds.
