Prayers - February 2000

ANSWERED PRAYERS

  1. Praise that the clinic building project is moving forward again! It will be a smaller 2-story building and only house the clinic.
  2. Praise for good health! Linda's asthma is gone, at least for now, and we've been healthy despite seeing lots of sick people.
  3. Praise for the Lord's continued provision for our personal financial needs, through our World Mission Prayer League Support Fund! We received substantial gifts to our Support Fund in December!
  4. Praise that the clinic project continues to receive donations!
  5. Praise for continued safety and unity!
  6. Praise that the Romanian parlament did not pass the proposed religion law, which would have made it very difficult for missionaries and small church to continue in Romania!

PRAYER REQUESTS

  1. For continued guidance from the Lord on the building project. Also, for speedy approvals of the new building plans.
  2. For continued donations to our clinic project. If anyone knows of any foundations who might support this sort of project overseas, please let us know.
  3. For guidance on how to again become involved in teaching, without getting overwhelmed. When Milt was working on his lecture, that was all he could do for 5 days. Dr. Restian would like us to give regular lectures, not only to the residents but also to the other doctors he's training to become instructors for the residents.
  4. For continued good health, safety and unity.
  5. For Bogdan and his parents, that he will be cured by God's power. Also that his parents will daily experience God's love and peace.
  6. For the ICC orphanage children, that they will continue to grow in the loving environment there, and that those with developmental delay and medical problems will be healed by the Lord. Also, for adoptive parents for them.
  7. That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We need people with clinic organization and management skills and evangelism skills.
  8. For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders will follow the Lord and seek to do His will, and that they will recommit themselves to opposing corruption and dishonesty at all levels of the government and society, 2) against the spirits of deception and corruption in this country, 3) for a revival in the church in Romania and for a "Promise Keepers" type revival among the men in Romania.
