ANSWERED PRAYERS

1. Praise that we are gradually getting more patients!
2. Praise that we again received enough donations to cover our employee's salaries for December and to pay our clinic insurance bill!
3. Praise that we received donations designated to help some patients with medicines and laboratory tests.

1. For President Bush and the other leaders of the world, for wisdom in making difficult decisions and doing God's will.
2. For the Lord to bless our clinic with more patients, both Romanian and foreigners.
3. For more donations for our clinic project--enough to cover our employees' salaries and the utilities. Our expenses over the winter will be about $5,000/month. The CBC lab machine, an X-ray machine and finishing the basement are still long term goals. Donations toward the clinic are best given to Open Door Medical Ministries, C/O Clifford Olson, 9210 Science Center Drive, New Hope, MN 55428. Donations to our Work Fund, Support Fund, Travel Fund and Personal Gift Fund should go to World Mission Prayer League, 232 Clifton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403, specifying to which fund you wish to give.
4. For additional funds to be able to help some of the poorest of our patients with their medication expenses, costs of lab and other medical tests.
5. For the new church plant that is meeting on Sunday mornings at our clinic , led by Dave Cox.
6. For doctors to cover for us here in Bucharest next August--our next vacation.
7. For us to find other high quality Christian specialists who would like to work part-time in the clinic.
8. For continued general good health, safety and unity, for us and for all of the people who are working at the clinic.
9. For continued protection of the clinic against theft or damage.
10. That God will raise up more missionaries to work with us in Romania. We need people with medical training, clinic organization and management skills, Christian counseling and evangelism skills as well as other skills.
11. For the country of Romania: 1) that the leaders and the people will rediscover the meaning of integrity, 2) against the spirits of deception, self-deception and corruption that are so dominant in this country, and 3) for a revival in the church in Romania, especially among the men, for their hearts and their minds. This is an ongoing, long term prayer.
